My Personal Checklist

  • check if icemaker is on when getting to room, can be law to turn it off (so ice from previous visitor is not left)
  • put extra chrome cast in suitcase for travel -- include a hdmi extension.
  • linux os w/windows vm for work.
  • Universal Remote for TV, don't assume the remote in room will work, also useful to bypass any HDMI port block.
  • android small tablet (rugged is better) to download all shows to watch, e.g. amazing race.
  • always have a backup plan for dinner
  • always check traffic before going
  • always check menu for pricing, an average looking restaurant can be $20+ dinners.
  • while on wait check menu and have allergy conversation when applicable.
  • Extra battery for devices
  • Extra mouse

My Cruise ship requirements

  • Bracelets for door/drinks as apposed to using a key card
  • Spa - with a good spa, there is always something to do. Have a few hours to kill? go to the spa.
  • Drink package w/unlimited water and non-well alcohol drinks.
